Supporting Minatomirai Festa 2026
The United Nations NGO Japan Charity Foundation Services Organization is an official supporter of Minatomirai Festa 2026, held on Saturday, 26 September 2026 at Nippon Maru Memorial Park in Yokohama.
The festival brings together autumn traffic safety, crime prevention, and disaster preparedness with culture, education, and community exchange. Police and fire departments, schools, local organizations, and residents all gather for a day when those who protect the town meet those who live in it.
The program includes a life-size Patlabor display, an exhibition of the vehicles that keep the town safe — police cars, police motorcycles, fire engines, and ambulances — a joint ceremony by brass bands and music corps, guidance on crime prevention and disaster preparedness, and consultations on school commuting routes.
As a supporting organization, we help build communities where children can grow up safely and where generations meet. Admission is free and no registration is required. We look forward to welcoming you.
